Artist in Residence: Stephanie Sirois
July 6 @ 10:00 am – July 17 @ 4:00 pm

Stephanie Sirois is a jewellery artist that roots their work in translating complex ideas and emotions into wearable forms. Approaching their art as a quiet language that explores the themes of hope, belonging and protection, Stephanie aims to create art pieces with meaning that evolves with the wearer. They are drawn to artistic processes that invite reflection and shared experience to create moments of connection that linger beyond the act of wearing.
Throughout their residency, Stephanie will be translating observations of the Fredericton Botanic Garden into objects that will function as intimate landscapes that can be worn or held. The public will be invited to share their sensory experience of the landscape to inspire their work.
