In honour of Pride Week in Fredericton, the Fredericton Region Museum, in collaboration with the Queer Heritage Initiative of New Brunswick and the Fredericton Botanical Garden Association, will unveil "A Tribute to Hal Hinds - Botanist, Teacher, Gay Activist, Naturalist and Author"...

Starting June 30th and for the rest of the summer, the Botanic Garden will host a series of Artists in Residence. These artists will be at the Garden on weekdays and will create works inspired by their surroundings. Their home base will be 10 Cameron Court. Stop in to chat with them about their work.

In honour of Pride Week, this week's Weeding Wednesday will be held in the Hal Hinds Memorial Garden. Learn about the co-founder of AIDS NB and the FBGA from hosts Dr. Stephen Heard (Biology Professor, UNB) and Erin MacQuarrie (Master Gardener Candidate).

Whether you're experienced in the craft or want to give it a shot for the first time, this event is open to anyone who wants to knit or crochet with others in the community.

We’d like a team of individuals to help us out by painting things black! We will supply the paint, brushes, rollers, drop cloths and refreshments. You just need to sign up, and then show up, in your painting clothes.

We’re looking for a team of volunteers who don’t mind getting their hands dirty to wash down the benches, pads, and memorial stone. Please RSVP.

The Fredericton Botanic Garden and New Brunswick Invasive Species Council are are teaming up again to demonstrate how to identify and remove multiflora rose! This event will be led by Clarissa Hoffman (Terrestrial Project Coordinator, New Brunswick Invasive Species Council) and naturalist Dr. Jim Goltz (FBGA).
