Propagation Workshop with Sima Usvyatsov
October 25, 2025 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

Fall is the time to make more plants from what you have so you can trade with friends! Permaculture expert, Sima Usvyatsov, will lead participants through the process and participants will leave with cuttings and instructions on how to root them at home.
No experience necessary. As always, the FBGA is a fragrance-free zone. Meet at the Resource Centre at 10 Cameron Court!

Sima runs a small nursery focused on edible and permaculture perennial plants – from berry bushes and herbs to fruit trees and perennial vegetables. Located on the Kingston Peninsula, Sima sells plants, runs workshops (pruning, grafting, propagation, and seed-saving), and organizes the annual NB Food Forest Tour events, including hosting a tour of her own food forest, and the food forest at the Fredericton Botanic Garden, which she helped design and plant. Find more about Sima’s work, including her blog, on simasrootsandfruits.ca.
