Grafting Workshop
April 27 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
We are very excited to offer a grafting workshop at the Fredericton Botanic Garden’s food forest! Join us for a hands-on workshop on grafting fruit trees. The workshop will be led by Sima, from Sima’s Roots & Fruits. We will focus on cleft grafting and will practice our new knowledge by grafting various fruit trees at the food forest. Tools will be provided. Participants will be able to take home scionwood to do their own grafting and will also be able to purchase an apple rootstock! Note that participants will need to sign a waiver, since we’ll be working with very sharp knives.
We will meet at the Resource Center, and will walk to the food forest for the hands-on portion. Space is limited, so register soon. Cost: $40 for members, $50 for non-members. Non-member tickets will be available for purchase Apr. 7th.
Please note the FBGA is now a scent-free zone.
