Hayley finds that oil painting allows her to work fluidly to create something rich and complex whereas printmaking pulls her back in and results in something more succinct.While at the Fredericton Botanic Garden\, Hayley will create both oil paintings and linoleum prints\, allowing her to consider the visual language of each piece. She aims to combine elements from a variety of observations while fostering a deeper connection to the landscape She hopes to encourage the public to slow down\, notice and reconnect with the environment and creativity.
